Ann Curry is my Hero!
So I'm hearing about journalist and Today show cohost Ann Curry apologizing to the world about disappointing the viewers due to the drop in ratings on NBC and all I can say is those studio heads need to get their heads out of their asses! Ann Curry handled her termination with grace and poise and for that she is now my hero!
Look no one likes to lose their job but how you want to be remembered when you leave your current place of employment is going to bite you in the ass one day! That is why I was going to leave on a good note with class and dignity befitting someone like Ann Curry. Sure I was disappointed when I couldn't secure a position in another part of the company but still I didn't cry or go all postal worker rampage on my last day at work.
I'm sure others have gone all apeshit but now are regretting their actions especially when they crawl back to their former jobs begging for them to take them back like a cheating husband to a cuckold wife. Let me tell you that this is one bitch who IS NOT going to go out like that! I slipped on my imaginary Manolos and Ann Curry red mini and sashayed my fine little ass like the professional that I am. I cake on the fake smile and finished my day ready to anticipate what was to come tomorrow.
So to all you Ann Curry haters out there, go and suck it! You want to be a jackass on your last day on the job and get all cuntified on your bosses, then go right ahead. Just make sure you never have to stick your tail between your legs when you have to rim your former bosses' asses when you find yourself back on the unemployment line. As for Miss Ann Curry who now has team of experienced news crews behind her, GO ON GIRL! You keep doing what you're doing in journalism and let the NBC dumbasses watch the Today show get cancelled.
Now if only someone will hire me...

Yes It Truly Does!
Despite what the media says that the economic downturn is improving, the fact is that many Americans are still unemployed. After months or even years of hardship finding work in this unstable economy, the chances that things are going to get better are slim to none. I, for one, am one of those nameless victims of a global recession as I now am faced with the possiblity of filing unemployment and having to worry about my finances.
Do not believe the hype people! Just because the media is painting the portrait of a happy medium of employment opportunities growing these last few months, there are more workers being shown the door daily due to company downsizing and businesses going under during this tough economic times. In short, nothing is stable. Whether you are medical professional, a corporate bigwig, or hard working blue collar worker there is no such thing as a stable position. Everything can topple at a moment's notice!
For this blog, I am going to channel all my frustrations and anger into something constructive as I pound the pavement hoping to secure a job somewhere in the workforce. After a few weeks of job hunting, I am discovering my skills are less than admired among the more experienced and qualified candidates competing for the same position as me. No matter, I will take this experience in stride and blog about my moments in this crazy world of unemployment.
Readers feel free to read and comment as I share all the hilarious hijinks of being one of the unemployed.
